David Sherbet

Memorial services for David Bryan Sherbert, 61, lifelong resident of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6th at the Central Church of Christ in Ada; Mr. Bill Nelson will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the church at 10:00 the day of the service.

Mr. Sherbert passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at a local hospital. He was born January 21, 1956 at Ada to Bill and Deene Canoy Sherbert. He graduated from Ada High School in 1974 and graduated East Central University with a degree in Chemistry, and then again several years later with a degree in Medical Technology, also from East Central.

He married Marsha Ann Robbins June 5, 1976 In Ada. She preceded him in death in April 2017. Mr. Sherbert had been a cabinet maker with Ada Cabinet Company and worked 19 years in the laboratory at Mercy Hospital, formerly Valley View Hospital.

Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Jill Sherbert Padilla and her husband Carlos and Jennifer Morris and her husband Zane, all of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Ana, Juliet, Josephine and Benjamin; brothers Joe Sherbert and wife Candy of Ada, and Bob Sherbert and wife Connie of Houston, uncle Michael Canoy of Oklahoma City, sister in law Kay Robbins Wall of Eufaula, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marsha and both parents, and grandparents Carrie and James Canoy and Grady and Fay Sherbert.
