DAVID MACKEY
ADA-Memorial Services for David Wayne Mackey, 52, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Mr. Larry Byrd will officiate.
Mr. Mackey died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born March 3, 1956 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Calvin Perry and Delma Sophie Downey Mackey. He attended Byng schools and graduated from Moore-Norman Vo-Tech.
He married Patricia Ann Dunigan on February 1, 1981 at Pauls Valley. Mr. Mackey was a Paramedic at Valley View Regional Hospital for twelve years, retiring in 1998. Later, he was a self-employed concrete finisher.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Mackey, of the home; one daughter, Charity Tolliver and Tommy Postoak, Woodward; one son, David Mackey, Ada; two brothers, Randy Mackey, Sulphur, and Jack Mackey, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Linda Nolf, Oklahoma City, and Brenda Bell, Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, Katie and Chance Tolliver, LaKota Toloak, Courtney Mackey, David Mackey, Heather Mackey, Jason Ellis, Brandon Postoak, and Tiffany Postoak; one great grandson, Caden Postoak; and several nieces and nephews including Alva Rue Mackey, Ada, Calvin Ray "Cowboy" Mackey, Ada, and Ann Penny, Ardmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, C. R. Kenneth Mackey, father-in-law and mother-in-law Charles and Betty Dunigan, and brother-in-law Charles Wayne Dunigan.
