David Dewayne Johnson

Services for David Dewayne Johnson, 47, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, in Ada. He was born August 17, 1979, in Lawton, to David Wayne Johnson and Yolanda Coltz. He was a Forest Fighter for the Chickasaw Nation.

He will always be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and the love he had for his family. He enjoyed the simple things in life, especially mowing lawns, spending time with his beloved dogs, and being surrounded by the people he loved. He had a way of making others laugh and loved joking around with family and friends. His presence brought joy and laughter to those around him, and he will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his father, David Wayne Johnson; daughter, Selena Boston, of Tishomingo; brother, Darrell Ray Johnson, of Ada; sisters, Lori Beth Johnson, of Ardmore, and Letitia Lydia Mae Kilcrease, of Ada; and two nieces, Alyssa Kilcrease, of Ada, and Tatiyiana Piper, of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Yolanda.

Bearers are Stephen Cully, Jonathan Futischa, Lloyd Kilcrease, Jr., Lonnie Coltz, Monty Stick, and Timmothy Smith.
