David Carpenter

Services for David Lyn Carpenter, 58, of Ardmore, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Wade will officiate.

Mr. Carpenter passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at an Ardmore nursing home. He was born January 25, 1960 at Lawton to Cimmon and Dorothy Mae Hamilton Carpenter.

Mr. Carpenter had been employed by the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in the Dietary Department. He had also served in the National Guard.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Sanchez Hernandez of Sulphur and Crystal Carpenter of Wanette; two sons, Michael Carpenter of Ada and Jason Carpenter of Wanette; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Thurman Carpenter, Hagen Alberson and J. D. Nelson; and three sisters, Arnetta Miller, Margie Johnson and Rachel Hollow-Horn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marlene Hamilton and Lorene Poe; and a grandson, Nicholas Carpenter.
