David Bates

A memorial service for David Austin Bates, 44, of Ada, are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at McCall’s Communities Activity Center; Pastor Mickey Hollars and Cyndy Stone will officiate.

Mr. Bates passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Ada. He was born May 3, 1982, in Ada, to Terry Louis and Linda Lea Dveney Bates.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Farris, of Ada; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry; step-father, Mark Farris; maternal grandparents, Dick and Zelma Dveney; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Dorcie Bates.
