David Glen Attebery

A Celebration of life service for David Glen Attebery, 59, of Francis will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Francis Community Center, 125 W. Main, Francis; Martha Stroud will officiate.

David passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at his home.  He was born April 7, 1966, in Plainview, TX to Glen Douglas and Judith Anne Henson Attebery.

He graduated from Allen High School in 1984 and graduated in 1990 from Mid-America Technology Center in Auto Body Repair.  David was skilled in numerous trades including auto body repair, mechanics, concrete finishing, and home repairs.

David truly loved his family and friends.  He had a kind heart and treated everyone with respect.  He helped anyone and everyone who was in need.  David will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his mother, Judith Attebery; son, Josh Attebery; daughters, Shelby Attebery, Sofie Spencer, and Sage Attebery; brother, Jerry Attebery; sister, Diann Wilson and husband John; grandchildren, Skyler Attebery, Spencer Attebery, Sawyer Attebery, Charlie Attebery, Koalbri Attebery, Dakari Attebery, Adylen Spencer; niece, Savanna Bennett; nephew, Logan Wilson; his beloved dog, Mary; and many other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Attebery and granddaughter, Payten Attebery.
