DAVID ALDRICH
BYNG-Services for David Lee Aldrich, 82, Byng, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bob Hooser and Bill Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Aldrich died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born July 11, 1925 at Blanco, Oklahoma to Rufus and Arzela Rambo Aldrich. He attended Byng schools.
He married Dessie Loretta McAnally on April 27, 1957. She died March 22, 2002. Mr. Aldrich was a maintenance worker at Solo Cup Company from 1972 until retiring in 1990. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and had served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Calvin Aldrich and wife Serena, Byng; a daughter, Kayetta Rea and husband Jim, Goddard, KS; a nephew, Don Evans, Byng; two brothers, Luther Brown, Byng, and George Brown, Sequim, WA; three sisters, Ailene Tucker, San Diego, CA, Hannah Sizemore, Edmond, and Doris Griffin, Madill; five grandchildren, Marty Evans, Las Vegas, NV, Alexess Rea, Denver, CO; Jed Rea, Mulvane, KS, John Aldrich, Byng, and Vanessa Aldrich, Stillwater; and six great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Arzela Aldrich Brown; two brothers, Bob Brown and Noble Brown; and one sister, Birdie Brown.
Bearers will be Jeff Wallis, John Aldrich, Jed Rea, David Brown, Larry Brown, and Mark McAnally. Honorary bearers will be Ed Christian, Junior Stiles, Melvin Whitwell, J. B. Sliger, and Jap Hammond.
