ADA — Services for Danny Wayne Ward, 55, of Ada are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Wendell Ingram will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ward died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at his home.
He was born May 16, 1959, in Dodson, Texas, to Carl & Katherine Stella Ward, but raised as their own by grandparents Clarence and Annie Donaghey Walton. He married Marla Faye Bell April 12, 1989, at the Homer Baptist Church.
Mr. Ward was a transportation driver for the Chickasaw Nation and a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Marla, of the home; siblings, Bill Johnson of Ada, Mary Holman of Ada, Linda Coon of Pink, Debbie Osberg of Weare, New Hampshire, and Johnny Wilson of Ada. Danny is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins including Sue Frazier of Ada and Shirley Shatswell of Yukon whom he loved as sisters as well as his mother-in-law, Maxine McWethy: and many other loving relatives and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his father and mother, siblings Carl Ray Ward, Retha Ward and Vernon Dale Ward.
Bearers will be Ronald Frazier, Edison Seeley, Christopher Tomlinson, Jerry Bell, Josh Laughlin and Billy Ward.
