Danny Kehl

Services for Lewis Daniel "Danny" Kehl, III, 67, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Pauls Valley. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Kehl passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at an Ada hospital. He was born May 10, 1951 at Pawhuska, OK to Lewis Daniel Kehl, Jr. and Mollie Mozella Lockhart Kehl. He attended grade school at Pauls Valley and graduated from Pauls Valley High School. He received a Bachelor's Degree in History from East Central University.

Mr. Kehl was a text book manager at the East Central University Bookstore. He was a member of the ECU Alumni Association and was a Southern Baptist. He served in the U. S. Navy, 3 ^rd Division, Weapon's Department as a STG-1. He was a Sonar Technician Surface from January 1980 – January 1986 in the Mediterranean Campaign. He served on the USS Ainsworth FF1090 (Knox Class).

Survivors include his mother, Mollie M. Kehl; a sister, Mollie (Kehl) Penrod; two brothers, James Marvin Kehl and wife Karla and Anthony Andrew Kehl and wife Vanessa; four nieces, Jaime Janiszewski, Ashley Kehl, Lauren (Kehl) Kelley and Rachel Kehl; three nephews, Adam Penrod, Abraham Penrod and Aaron Penrod; six great-nieces; and four great-nephews.

Bearers will be Abraham Penrod, Aaron Penrod, Marvin Kehl, Todd Kelley, Jaime Janiszewski and Gus Cosby.
