Danny Jones

Services for Danny Paul Jones, 72, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Asbury United Methodist Church, Dr. Travis Muse will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at his home. He was born February 9, 1946 at Ada to John F. and Ila Farmer Jones. He graduated from Ada High School in 1964 an attended East Central University.

He married Patricia Smith June 30, 1967. Mr. Jones was self-employed in the construction business and later was a supervisor with the Ada Housing Authority until his retirement. Mr. Jones was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of the home; two sons, Shane Jones and wife Brigette of Ada and Kyle Jones of Ada; two grandchildren, Samantha Byrd and John Jones; a brother, J. C. Jones of San Antonio, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Stanley Jones and David Jones; and a sister, Nina Betts.

Bearers will be Don Northcutt, Roy Northcutt, Jerry Yarberry, Jr., Jerry Yarberry, III, Jack Kelly and Troy Kelly.
