DANNY EDWARDS
TEMPLE TERRACE, FLORIDA-Services for Danny Ray Edwards, 64, Temple Terrace, Florida, formerly of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Johnny Rolen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Edwards died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at a hospice house in Temple Terrace, Florida. He was born October 5, 1942 in Slaton, Texas to M. D. and Bessie Mae Kyte Edwards. He graduated from Vanoss High School.
He married Lynda Carol Slaton on June 25, 1966 at Ada, Oklahoma. She died December 13, 1995 at North Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Edwards was a General Contractor in South Carolina. He also served in the 8th Marine Corps. Reserves.
Survivors include his daughters, Dana Rae Edwards-Moore, Tampa, Florida, Kimberley Renae Walston-Pilkington, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Lisa Ann Walston, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Linda Michelle Bryant, Charleston, South Carolina; a sister, Shirley Cope, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
