DANNY DRIVER
ADA-Services for Danny Wayne Driver, 61, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Denny Truett and Carl Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.
Mr. Driver died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1948 at Ada, Oklahoma to Conda J. and Velma Mae Kinikin Driver. He attended Byng and Ada schools.
Mr. Driver retired as a mill operator from Techni-Sand, Inc. in Roff, He was formerly employed with Brockway Glass Company for several years. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and had served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era for four years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Jane Driver; his mother, Velma Mae Driver, Ada; a brother, Conda J. Driver Jr., Ada; four nieces, Angela Harris, Ada, Teresa Parkey, Stratford, Janie Hardoin, Sulphur and Melissa Cooper, Ada; an uncle, Owen "Pete" Driver, Ada; a great nephew, Jeramy McElwee, Ada; a lifelong friend, Larry Cannon, Ada; and other great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Judith Lynn Fox.
Bearers will be Larry Cannon, Jeramy McElwee, Ted Parkey, Mike Hardoin, Chris Harrelson and Larry Harris.
