Danny Alford

Graveside services for Danny Keith Alford, 76, of Sulphur, are 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2026, at Buckhorn Cemetery; Rev. John Henry Lippard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Alford passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at his home. He was born June 17, 1950, in Ada, to Eugene Junior and Irvina Jo Elmore Alford. He graduated from Wewoka High School in 1968. Mr. Alford proudly served his Chickasaw Nation for 19 years.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially gardening, golfing, and spending time with the people he loved. One of his greatest joys was watching his granddaughter play softball, proudly cheering her on and making memories he would always treasure. He loved time on the water with kids, grandkids, and friends. He also had a special love for his dogs, who brought him companionship and happiness.

Survivors include his son, Chris Alford and wife, Amanda, of Ada; daughter, Kimberly Pryor and husband, Larry, of Sulphur; grandchildren, McKenzie Alford and fiancé, Evan Buxton, Rilee Jones, Austin Lofton, Jesse Davis, and Dakota Priest; and great grandchildren, Lainey Buxton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donnie Alford; and sister, Susan Diane Gillum.
