ADA-Services for Daniel Shane Wheat, 22, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Five-Mile Cemetery, east of Ada.
Mr. Wheat died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born May 28, 1992 in Ada, Oklahoma to Michael Dale and Angela Anne Angelly Wheat.
Survivors include his mother, Angela Wood and her husband Brian of Ada; his father, Michael Wheat of Ada; a sister, Madison Wheat of Ada; maternal grandmother, Chris Shores of Ada; maternal grandfather, Larry Angelly of Oklahoma City; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Parish of Ada; maternal great grandparents, Donald and Wanda Shores of Ada; maternal great grandmother, Bernice Moss of Oklahoma City; uncles and aunts, Athena Stephens, Dennis and Rhonda Wheat and Stephanie Snyder; and many cousins and other relatives and friends.
Bearers will be Dennis Wheat, Blake Wheat, Brian Wood and Melvin Ward.
