STONEWALL-Services for Daniel Thomas, 67, Stonewall, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hickory Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Hickory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Thomas died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1946, to Woodrow Wilson and Emma Daisy Hawkins Thomas at Talihina. Mr. Thomas was a self-employed tile layer and a member of the National Guard. He was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Robins and her husband Keith, Ada; his brother, Bill Thomas and his wife Katy, Tulsa; four nephews; three nieces; seven great-nephews; four great-nieces; and other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James Thomas and Darnell Thomas.
Bearers will be Matthew Pettigrew, B.J. Thomas, Lindsey Thomas, Max Barnoski, John Robert Hawkins and Bobby Pickens. Honorary bearers are Herman Stout, Leonard Monroe, John Thomas and David Hodge.
