Cynthia Ann "Sam" Cantrell

Services for Cynthia Ann "Sam" Cantrell, 57, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Ms. Cantrell passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at her home. She was born March 20, 1960 at Ada to Ofallon "Boney" and Marie Mazie Andrison Cantrell. She graduated from Vanoss High School and attended the Vo-Tech.

Ms. Cantrell was a licensed practical nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital for 20 years. Later, she was the manager of Health Care Solutions and Encompass Home Health. She was active with Relay for Life.

Survivors include a daughter, Danielle Cantrell, of the home; a son, Matthew Cantrell of Ada; granddaughter, Mazie Cantrell; one sister, Karen Marlow, a niece, Fanitta Fletcher, two great-nieces, a great-great niece, and a great-nephew, all of Waco, TX; and an honorary daughter, Dava Hanks.
