CINDY LANCASTER
ALLEN-Services for Cynthia Kay "Cindy" Horton LanCaster, 63, Allen are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Glenn Russell will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery near Seminole. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. LanCaster died Monday, September 26, 2011 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born April 6, 1948 in Ada, Oklahoma to Ret. MSGT Ura Manuel and Helen Viola Reed Horton. She attended schools in Germany, Olney and Tupelo and graduated from Tupelo High School in 1966.
She married Jerry Don LanCaster. Mrs. LanCaster was self-employed and had previously worked at Blue Bell in Coalgate and Wrangler in Seminole.
Survivors include her husband, Don LanCaster, of the home; her children, Donita Barnes and her husband Josh, Ada, Helen McKay and her husband John, Tupelo, Barry LanCaster, of the home, Brad LanCaster, Brian LanCaster, and Ronni Hardion, all of Sulphur; her mother, Helen Reed Horton, Ada; two brothers, Durwin Horton and his wife Leveta, Yukon, and Adrian Horton and his wife Kathy, Allen; a sister, Vicky Standridge and her husband Jim, Pauls Valley; her grandchildren, Shane Sorrels, Ada, Kurtis Jacobs, Francis, Tyler Pierce, Ada, Kelsey McKay, Tupelo, Alanah McKay, Tupelo, Wesley LanCaster, Edinburg, TX, Katelyn LanCaster, Emilee LanCaster, and Bradley LanCaster, all of Sulphur; and one great grandchild, Cannon Jacobs, Ada; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ret. MSGT Ura M. Horton, a sister, Alecia Horton, and a nephew, Branden Horton.
Bearers will be Kurtis Jacobs, Joe Standridge, Deano Adams, John C. Ellis, Brad Lancaster, and Mike Hardion. Honorary bearers will be Shane Sorrels, Tyler Pierce, Adrian Horton, Durwin Horton, Jimmy Standridge, Clifton Ellis, and Barry LanCaster.
