CINDY BALTHROP
ADA-Services for Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Balthrop, 61, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Ada, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Balthrop died Monday, March 21, 2011 at her home. She was born September 19, 1949 in Ada, Oklahoma to Charles and Mary Frank Hall Keylor. She was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Ada High School. She attended East Central University for two years.
She married Wiley Balthrop on January 4, 1969 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Mrs. Balthrop was a homemaker and also helped at "Wiley's Automotive", the family owned business. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada, was an avid gardener and traveler.
Survivors include her husband, Wiley Balthrop, of the home; two sons, Matt Balthrop and his wife LaDawn of Ada, and Mark Balthrop and his wife Kristen, Edmond; her grandchildren, Charlie Balthrop, Ada, Maggie Balthrop, Levi Balthrop and Betsy Balthrop, all of Edmond; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bearers will be Dr. Tim Eaker, Bradley Balthrop, Larry Williamson, Lanny Glasscock, Rob Gandy and Leslie Penn.
