CRAIG GARRETT
INDIANAPOLIS, IN-Services for Craig Alan Garrett, 46, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Ada, OK are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Rollow Chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Ada, OK. Rev. Bob Langston will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Garrett died May 15, 2012 at his home. He was born December 3, 1965 in Ada, Oklahoma to Lionel Hugh and Peggy Joan Wells Garrett. He attended Hayes Elementary School in Ada, OK and graduated from George Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Distinguished Majors Program of Economics from the University of Virginia in 1988. While at the University, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and was the Community Service Chairman for the fraternity.
Mr. Garrett was the Vice-President of Compliance at the American Funds/Capital Group. He worked there for over 20 years.
Survivors include his mother, Peggy Garrett; his father, Lionel Garrett; one sister, Carla Garrett; a niece, Maya Srinivasan; nephew, Vikram Srinivasan; uncle, Jim Wells; aunt, Barbara Wells; and three cousins, Lacey Garrett, Brittny Garrett and Keely Smith.
