Cordie Giles

Graveside services for Cordie Lee Giles, 83, of Ardmore, formerly of this area, are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Swan Hill Cemetery, Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.

Mrs. Giles passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 in Ardmore. She was born August 1, 1933 in Hickory to James P. and Zelder Atkins South.

She married Truman Giles. He preceded her in death January, 1990. Mrs. Giles was a Customer Service Representative for Southwestern Bell Telephone until her retirement. She was a member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; four sisters; and two nephews, Jimmy South and Don South.
