CONNIE TWEEDY

ADA-Services for Connie JoTweedy, 67, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Ken Wolf and Stacy Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.

Mrs. Tweedy died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at her home. She was born March 21, 1941 at Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Marion A. and Mildred Doolen Lancaster. She attended Byng schools and received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's degree from East Central University.

She married Bob Tweedy on September 1, 1966. Mrs. Tweedy was a licensed Professional Counselor, owned and operated Connie's Wig Salon, and was the County Director for the Department of Human Services, retiring in 1998. She was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Tweedy, of the home; three daughters, Thresa Ross and husband Roy, Ada, Cathy Darter and husband Tom, Boerne, TX, and Kaye Arnold and husband David, Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Chad Darter and wife Jamie, San Antonio, TX, Courtney Bruce and husband Chris, Boerne, TX, Clint Darter, Boerne, TX, Josh Arnold and wife Amy, Round Rock, TX, Jenny Arnold, Dallas, TX, Julie Arnold, Round Rock, TX, Jayci Harris, Ada, and Kase Harris, Ada; five great grandchildren, Addison, Ainsley, McCoy, Hudson, and Hayden; two brothers, Roger Lancaster and wife Verna Jean, Ada, and Chuck Lancaster and wife Linda, Ada; nieces and nephews, Steve Lancaster and wife Paula, Adrianna Lancaster and husband R. D. Doyle, Tiffany Frye and husband Cody, Kyra Lancaster, and Katy Lancaster.

Bearers will be Billy Dean Davis, Danny Stafford, Rob Doolen, Billy Gene Davis, Elton Lancaster, Danny Lancaster, Mark Doolen, and Mike Roddy. Honorary bearers will be the Harmony Pacesetters.
