RED SALES
ALLEN-Services for Clyde Andrew "Red" Sales, Jr., 81, Allen, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon Sunday until 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Allen Chapel.
Mr. Sales died Thursday, December 25, 2008 at a Talihina Veterans Center. He was born September 15, 1927 at McLoud, Oklahoma to Clyde Sales, Sr. and Madaline Judkins Sales. He lived in the Allen area most of his life and attended Allen schools.
He married Linda Jo Copelin in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Sales was a derrick hand in the oilfield industry, a Baptist, and an outdoorsman. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sales, of the home; a son, Brian Sales, Hooker; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous cousins in Oklahoma and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his children, Louise King, Dorothy Sheppard, and Mack Sales; his parents and all of his brothers and sisters.
