Clinton Sturdevant, IV

Services for Clinton Sturdevant, IV, 40, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Scott Young will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Clint passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at his parent's home. He was born November 4, 1979 at Ada to Clinton Sturdevant, III and Paula Canida Sturdevant. He attended Byng schools and graduated from Byng High School in 1998. He also attended East Central University and Oklahoma Community College and received an Associate's Degree in nursing.

Clint was a Registered Nurse, having worked in Tucson, AZ, Oklahoma City, Dallas, TX and Denver, CO. He loved playing baseball and softball and enjoyed horticulture and gardening. He grew up attending Central and Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include his bestest buddy, "Boomer"; his parents, Clinton and Paula Sturdevant, of Ada; a sister, Lea Robinson of Ada; his grandmother, Jessie Canida of Ada; a niece, Lindi Robinson, Ada; nephew, Kaden Lavielle, Ada; an uncle, Bill Sturdevant and his wife Janet, Ada; two aunts, Towanda Clifton, Ada and Shonnie Swales and husband Richard of Lawton; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Canida; paternal grandparents, Clinton Sturdevant,Jr. and Betty Sturdevant; and an aunt, Jan Sturdevant.

Bearers will be Jody Ardrey, Brandon Tilley, Matt Pierce, Chris Darbison, Jared Euper and Jake Williams.
