Clifford Leon Williams

Services for Clifford Leon Williams, 98, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Toby Willoughby and Rev. Donna Gustin will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.  Rev. Martin Gustin will officiate the graveside service.

Mr. Williams passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Sulphur.  He was born June 9, 1927, in Vanoss to Early and Leda Johnson Williams.

On June 19, 1948, he married Norma D. House.  They were married for 77 years before she preceded him in death on July 16, 2025.  Mr. Williams proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a shift supervisor for OG&E until his retirement.

Survivors include his brother, David Williams and wife Izolde; grandchildren, Brian Carpenter and wife Megan, Shawna Cole and husband Curt, and Tanna Meeks and husband Jeff; great grandchildren, Cade Carpenter and wife Mikala, Landon Carpenter and wife Callie, Brannon Carpenter, Dalton Tidwell, Ethan Harriman and fiancé Alyssa Heard, Madison Cole, Jenna Cole, Jaycee Andrews and husband Garrett, Haylee Meeks, Addy Carpenter, Rhys Carpenter, and Elaine Carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Williams; daughter, Regina Williams Carpenter; siblings, Mary Lois Montgomery, Berl Williams, Donald Williams, Anita Lewis, Phillis Northcutt, Rita Lowery, and Lendford "Wimp" Williams.
