ADA-Graveside services for Clifford Calvin "C. C." Brown, Sr., 87, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the East Hill Cemetery in Roff, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Mr. Brown died Friday, August 31, 2012 at a local nursing home. He was born November 21, 1924 at Little Rock, Arkansas to Thomas Calvin and Katie Ann Attebery Brown. He moved to Pontotoc County in 1977.
Mr. Brown was an electrician in California and was of the Pentecostal faith. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include four sons, Jim Brown, Fittstown, Bruce Brown and wife Roberta, Lomita, CA, Clifford C. Brown, II and fiancé, Minnie Ann Coe of Roff, and Steve Lawrence Brown; three daughters, Fawn Brown, Earingburg, CA, Ellen Brown, Hot Springs, AR, and Pam Brown of Ada; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Brown Hogge; and his wife.
