ANITA JONES
ADA-Services for Cleta Anita Jones, 78, Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Central Church of Christ. Bud Ross will officiate.
Mrs. Jones died Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at an Ada hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1937, at Byars. She attended school at Taft and Capitol Hill in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Jones was employed as a receptionist and secretary for Dr. Darrell Speed and Dr. JoAnn Carpenter for about 20 years. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ and sang with the Central Church of Christ singers.
She and Jesse Sampson Jones were married Sept. 4, 1958. He died March 25, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, David Sublett and wife Sabrina of Oklahoma City, and Kyle Jones of Ada; one daughter, Kelly Barnes and husband Mark of Rolla, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many close nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Mark Reynold Sublett and Jeffrey Lyle Jones.
