ADA-Services for Clayton Monroe "Clate" Hillman, 44, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Bob Payne will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Hillman died Sunday, November 11, 2012 near Ada. He was born January 17, 1968 in Ada, Oklahoma to Larry "Butch" and Donna Van Zant Hillman. He attended Latta grade school and graduated from Latta High School in 1986. He received a degree in Criminal Justice from East Central University. Mr. Hillman had served as a deputy sheriff and previously was employed at Flex-N-Gate as a forklift operator.
Survivors include a daughter, Jamie Grace Hillman of Ada; his mother, Donna Hillman of Ada; a sister, Toni Hillman of Ada; two uncles, Gary Van Zant, Ada, and Joe Hillman and his wife Rhonda, Tecumseh; and four aunts, Stevene Mullinax
, Betty Hunt, Mary Jo Hillman, all of Ada, and Barbara Shahan and her husband Carroll of Fitzhugh.
Bearers will be Aaron Dial, Ted Glover Jr., Kevin Conn, Ron Hillman, Jon Hillman, and Clyde Cabler.
