Services for Claude Edward Miller, Sr., 86, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Chickasaw Community Center; Pastor Phil Lawrence will officiate.  The family will receive friends and family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 in Midwest City, OK.  He was born August 3, 1938, in Ada to Tom and Maggie Grayson Miller.

On December 10, 1955, he married JoAnn Romona Pannell.  He was a Corrosion Technician for Arkla and also was appointed to the position of Chickasaw Nation At-Large Commissioner.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn of the home; two sons, Claude Miller, Jr. and wife, Sherry, and Ricky Miller; two daughters, Debra Cox and husband, Don, and Peggy Harrison; one nephew that he raised like his own son, Tommy Miller; six grandchildren, Nicole Poulin, Nicholas Miller, Shad Harrison, Kaci Hogue, Kala Furr, and Jeremy Cox; 16 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew that he raised like his own son, Tony Miller; brother, Jimmy Miller; and three sisters, Bertha Allen, Lorena Miller, and Ruby Hilton.
