CLAUDE HENSON
NORMAN-Services for Claude Potter Henson, 82, Norman, formerly of Francis, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Harold Vangilder will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.
Mr. Henson died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at a Norman hospital. He was born March 15, 1928 in the Oakman Community, near Ada, Oklahoma to William H. "Bill" and Grace Lee Henson. He attended Francis school.
Mr. Henson was a truck driver for Transcon Lines, retiring after 42 years of service. He served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Carmelle Vangilder and husband Harold, Casa Grande, AZ, Laura Armstrong and husband David, Norman, and Claudette Siko, Norman; three grandchildren, Clark Henson Vangilder, Alison Wilson and Ace Wilson; six great grandchildren, Noelle and Iabella Vangilder, Jeremiah Watkins, Ayden Wilson, Jaxon Wilson, and Bella Grace Wilson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion Henson and Melvin Henson.
