CLAIR ABBOTT
ADA-Services for Clair Mae Abbott, 60, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ken Wolf officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Abbott was born Dec. 1, 1949, to Clarence and Ruby Faust McNichols at Ajo, Arizona. She died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at a local hospital. She moved to this area in 1952, attending and graduating from Byng High School in 1968. Mrs. Abbott retired from the Byng School System after 23 years of service. She was manager for the Homer School Cafeteria. She and Curtis Eugene Abbott were married April 19, 1968, in Ada. Mrs. Abbott was affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis, of the home; two daughters, Christy Garner and husband Paul, and Kyla Harden and husband Marc, all of Ada; one son, Justin Abbott and wife Michele, Ada; one brother, Jerry McNichols,Tuscon, Arizona; one sister, Linda Thompson; four aunts, Murldean Gay, Duncan, Pearlene Caldwell, Purcell, Olga Faust, Lawton, and Annie Dill; and five grandchildren, David, Jason, Connor, Amberly and Kenley.
Bearers will be Justin Abbott, Paul Garner, Marc Harden, Charles Simpson Jr., Jim Romeo, and Tony Romeo.
