Memorial services for Christopher James Donaghey, 52, of Norman, are 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Judge Tommy Landrith will officiate.

Mr. Donaghey passed away Monday, March 3, 2024 at his home.  He was born October 19, 1971, in Ada to James Frank and Gloria Darlene Braden Donaghey.

He is survived by his father, James Donaghey & wife Prissy, of Burnet, TX; two sons, Alan Donaghey, of Edmond, and Cameron Donaghey, of Ada; one daughter, Taylor Donaghey, of Ada; four brothers, Kyle Donaghey, of Shawnee, Zack Donaghey wife Rayna of Guthrie, Neal Morris, of Ada, and Philip Morris, Burnet, TX; two sisters, Courtney Bolm, of Burnet, TX, and Mandy Coffman, of Ada; two grandchildren, Gabriella and Sophia; paternal grandmother, Jean Storts, of Oklahoma City; three aunts, Phyllis Gray of Ada and Jayna Anderson of Edmond, Kelley Donaghey of Ada; Uncle, Bart Donaghey and wife, Teresa of Stratford and other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Donaghey was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria; paternal grandparents, Farrell and Melba Jane Donaghey; maternal grandfather, Jay Braden; uncle, Milt Donaghey; and significant other, Patti Creech.

Chris graduated from Byng High School class of 1989.  Chris was a Freelance Writer and a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation Inc.  Chris was a guru when it came to Heavy Metal music, he loved Metallica, and favorite Greta Van Fleet.  Chris loved spending time with his family and playing darts. Oh, how he loved reading and loved going to the bookstores. He was like a kid in a candy store!
