CHRISTINE BROWN
SHAWNEE-Services for Christine (Daggs) Brown, 72, Shawnee, were 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mark Barnes officiated. Burial followed at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Ms. Brown died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at a Midwest City hospice. She was born February 14, 1938 at Grass Valley, California to Lester and Pearl Marie Upton Brown.
Ms. Brown was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Survivors include her children, Terry Daggs of Bartlesville, Sharon Daggs Allen and her husband Gunnery Sergeant Charles Allen of Gulfport, MS, Darryl Daggs of Shawnee and Christie Daggs of Texas; a sister, Velda Duffy of Ada; and eleven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Alene Upton and Margaret Roberts and two brothers, Harry Brown and Elmer Brown.
Bearers were Zachary Harbort, Keith Daggs, Dalton Porter, Gunnery Sergeant Charles Allen, Preston Daggs, and Warren Daggs. Honorary bearer was J. D. Daggs.
