Obituary

ADA- Services for Chloa Lee Belle Farmer, 98, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Glen Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow at Box X Cemetery.

Mrs. Farmer died Friday, September 21, 2007, at a local nursing home. She was born August 23, 1909 at Acme, Texas, to Loranze Dow and Zadie Lockhart Rutledge. She came to this area in 1917 from Randlett, Oklahoma. She attended Summers Chapel schools.

She married Wesley Marion Farmer on November 29, 1929 in Bebee, Oklahoma. He died April 26, 1985 at Ada, Oklahoma. Mrs. Farmer was a homemaker. She was a baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, L.E. and J.D. Rutledge; her husband, Wesley; five children, Bobby Dow Farmer, Marion Kell, Joan Terry, James "Buzzy" Farmer, and Wayne Farmer; and a daughter-in-law, Willie Mae Farmer.

Survivors include four daughters, Noez Howerton, Juan Pearce, Janie Tilley and husband Kirby, all of Ada, and Judy Patzer and husband Lester, of Florida; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and loving friends and relatives.

Bearers are Darrell Bennett, Tanner Bennett, Billy Farmer, Terry Pinley, Travis Wilson and Rickey Wood.
