Chevy Dale Saunders

Services for Chevy Dale Saunders, 34 month old son of Michael Saunders and Kaitlyn Atwood are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Free Will Baptist Church at Pickett, Rev. John Henry Lippard will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Chevy passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Hugo. He was born April 20, 2015 at Ada.

Survivors include his mother, Kaitlyn Atwood; his father, Michael Saunders; step-brother, Dylan Saunders; step-sister, Nikkita Saunders; grandparents, Curtis and Aimee Ligon and Jackie McClellan; his great-grandmother, Rachel Sutton and Jean Ligon; his uncles, Dakota Atwood, Cody Ligon, Adam Combs and aunt Joeanna, Scott Saunders and aunt Jennifer, James Saunders and Willie Steel; aunts, Julia Atwood, "Tottie" Tiffany Watson and Tammie Greenwood; cousins, Braewyn Atwood, Krislyn Carlson and Erica Goodson and her husband Austin; his best-friend, Delaynee Watson; and his trusty companion, Stickers the cat; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete McClellan; great-grandfathers, Paul Sutton and Clifford Ligon; and a great-uncle, Eric Sutton.

Bearers will be Dakota Atwood, Cody Ligon, Willie Steel, Michael Saunders and Chad Turner. Honorary bearers will be Delaynee Watson, Brooklynn Benedict and Stickers the cat.
