Memorial services for Chester Samuel Sneed, Jr., 83, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate.  Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Sneed passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at a local hospital.  He was born February 4, 1938 in Ada, OK to Chester Samuel Sneed, Sr. and Mildred Goins Sneed.

He Married Jane Mary Metiver, August 2, 1958 in Norwich, CT.  He served in the Navy for 21 years and was later employed by the Ada Fire Department for 25 years retiring as the Assistant Fire Chief.

Survivors are his wife, of the home; two sons, Chester Samuel Sneed III and his wife, Regina, of Ada, and Thomas Sneed and wife, Rochelle, of Perkins; one daughter, Donna Marie Hastings and husband, Steve, of Florida; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Barbara and MargorieLea.

Bearers are the Fire Department.
