ADA-Memorial services for Cherie Lynn Milligan, 54, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Chickasaw Community Center , John Galbreaith will officiate.
Mrs. Milligan died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at her home. She was born December 14, 1960 in Dinuba, CA to Wendell A. and Barbara Diana Spomer Avey. She graduated from high school in Dinuba, CA and the University of Oklahoma in Norman with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
She married Marcus Milligan September 5, 1992. She and her family moved to Ada in 2004 from Oklahoma City. Mrs. Milligan was an Occupational Therapist, formerly at Valley View Regional Hospital and later with home health care agencies.
Survivors include her husband, Marcus Milligan, of the home; two daughters, Mercedes Milligan and Michaela Milligan; two sons, Miko Milligan and Malachi Milligan; and two brothers, Tony Avey, Brownwood, TX and Keith Avey, Guthrie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Avey; and a sister, Katherine Avey.
