Charlotte Dyer

Services For Charlotte Dyer, 83 of Ada, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Criswell Funeral Home; Rev. Steve Wilburn and Tommy Chaffin will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Dyer passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Ada. She was born on October 5, 1942, in Lynwood, California, to Arvo and Virginia Bingham.

During World War II, her father worked at a defense plant in California until he was drafted into the U.S. Navy. At that time, Virginia and young Charlotte returned to Oil Center, Oklahoma, to live with her maternal grandparents. When the war ended, the family settled on the Bingham farm south of Ada.

Charlotte attended and graduated from McLish Schools. She married the love of her life, Jerry Dyer, on February 16, 1959, in Ada. Together they shared 59 years of devotion and cherished memories.

Charlotte worked in various Ada pharmacies for 40 years. She was the sixth person in the state of Oklahoma to earn her pharmacy technician license. Known for her exceptional skill and warm personality, she could recall every customer's name and genuinely loved her work and the people she served.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fitzhugh. Charlotte and Jerry shared a deep love of gospel music, spending many joyful times, Jerry playing guitar and Charlotte lending her beautiful voice.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Tucker, and husband, Randy, of Ada; her son, David Dyer of Clinton, Oklahoma; her grandson, Cody Tucker; and her great-grandson, Rance Tucker, both of Ada. She is also survived by two sisters, Rhoda Coakley and Margaret Reed; and brother-in-law and wife, Donald and Nancy Dyer.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dyer; her parents, Arvo and Virginia Bingham; her nephew, Bobby Reed; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

Bearers will be David Dyer, Randy Tucker, Cody Tucker, Rance Tucker, Brad Holloway, Jacob Holloway and Eric Holloway.
