EDWARD WHITTINGTON
FITTSTOWN-Services for Charles Edward Whittington, 52, of Fittstown are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Sam Horse will officiate. Burial will follow at Jesse Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Whittington died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Oklahoma City. He was born December 17, 1960 at Ada, Oklahoma to Charles "Chink" and Joretta Fern Gipson Whittington. He attended McLish schools and graduated from McLish High School in 1979. Mr. Whittington was a welder for Johnson Welding and Fabrication.
Survivors include a daughter, Meagan Doyle and her husband Wade of McAlester; a son, Chad Whittington, Stonewall; one brother, Robert Whittington, Rosedale; five sisters, Madonna Tidwell, Roff, Rhonda Brown, Tishomingo, Twila Ferris, Connerville, Andrea Rausch, Ashland, OH and Vanessa Barr, Salt Lake City, UT; and a special friend, Sherri Collett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Rodger Whittington.
Bearers will be Randall Flinn, Carl Graham, Delton Uhlich, Daryl Sawyer and nephews.
