Charles Pate

Graveside services for Charles Oscar Pate, 90, of Ada, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Randy Wade will officiate. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Charles passed away February 4, 2025, in Ada.  He was born on December 16, 1934, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Theodore Arthur and Oleta Belle Pate. He was married to Linda for 45 years.  Charles served in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran.

Charles had a long career as a salesman at Bluebonnet Ford and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly fishing and hunting. Above all, he loved playing with his puppy and cherished the simple joys of life. His kindness, humor, and generosity will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Donnie Pate and Gary Pate. Charles is survived by two daughters, Candy Johnson and husband Jimmy of Ada, and Karen Reyna and husband Richard of New Braunfels, Texas; and two grandchildren, Melissa Johnson and Brandon Reyna.
