ADA-Services for Charles Keith Parker, 72, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Bible Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Holt will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Parker died Friday, March 29, 2013 at his home. He was born November 21, 1940 at Topeka, KS to Mervin Hubert and Martha Marine Mills Parker.
Mr. Parker was employed at Up-to-Date Laundry in Shawnee and later as a handy-man for Dr. Van Horn. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Shawn Keith Parker and wife Cornelia, Ada, Monica Ann Blue and husband David of Ada, Nicholas Wayne Parker and wife Morgan Denise of Ada, Matthew Alvy Parker and wife Julie of Ada, and Jimmy Keith Parker of Ada; his grandchildren, Jordan Blue, Hunter Parker, Tyler Parker, Sydney Parker, Matthew Parker, and Jaydan Parker; his step-grandchildren, Jordan Chisholm and Jonathan Gray; two sisters, Patsy Wallis of Midwest City and Lois Lawrence and husband Carl, Sayre; a brother, Audie Parker, Sayre; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Cerry Shaw of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mervin Eugene Parker; and a sister, Marjorie Marine Gonzalez.
Bearers will be Eddie Brown, Jason Hubbard, Jackie Hubbard Jr., Jesse Cordray, Dwight Black and Raymond Wright, Jr.
