NORMAN-Services for Charles E. "C.E." Moore, 88, Norman, formerly of Ada are 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Moore died Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at a Norman hospital. He was born June 29, 1920 at Durant, Oklahoma to Charles E. and Mary Martha Parsons Moore. He attended Ada schools and East Central University.
He married Drusilla Cash in 1947. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2005. Mr. Moore was in sales with Superior Clay Products. Later, he owned and operated CBM Manufacturing Company which made cultured marble, retiring in 1992. Mr. Moore was a member of the First Christian Church for many years and had served as a pilot and flight instructor in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He and his wife moved to Norman about 1996 from Ada.
Survivors include a son, David Moore and wife Sherry, Norman; a daughter, Chloe Shi Odom and husband Dennis, Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Darcy and Jaxcy Odom, Kate Odom, Shi Leah Morales and husband Jonathan, Chelsea Moore, and Tara Archer; a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Morales; and numerous nieces and nephews.
