Services for Charles Wayne Hisaw, 81, of Stonewall are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Stonewall, Rev. Larry Hawkins and Rev. JP Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Hisaw passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at his home. He was born June 30, 1942 in Ada to Cager "Boda" Hisaw, Jr. and Emily Spears Hisaw.
He graduated from Stonewall High School and then earned his BA from East Central University in Industrial Arts. Mr. Hisaw taught two years at Blanchard Schools. He also worked in the oil field and at Commercial Credit, First American Bank and Oklahoma State Bank. He owned a feed store and raised cattle for many years.
On August 8, 1964, he married Judy K. Patton at Fittstown Baptist Church.
Mr. Hisaw was an avid sportsman and competed in skeet shoots. He hunted all over the West and in Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; one son, Charles Ed Hisaw and wife Shari; one sister, Shirley Pogue and husband Randall; three granddaughters, Kelcie Branscum and Shawn Holland, Kaitlin Worley and husband Eric and Kendra Dean and husband Tyler; and three great grandchildren, Colten Branscum, Owen Branscum and Kinsley Worley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bearers are Hal Sliger, David Elkins, Stan Oglesby, Johnny Daniels, Jim Edwards and Jerry Blevins. Honorary bearers are Glenn McDonald, Mike Newport, Dee Kelly and Gene Overturf.
