CHARLES HART, JR.

ROFF-Services for Charles Raymond Hart, Jr., 51, Roff, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ray Talbott will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Hart died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born May 19, 1958 at Rapid City, South Dakota to Charles Raymond and Jimmie Deene Gurley Hart. He received his General Equivalency Degree from Ada High School.

He married Patricia Annette Anderson on September 23, 1994 at Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Hart was a Staff Sargeant in the U. S. Marine Corps serving on active duty for 16 years. He was in the military for twenty-eight years. He later was a truck driver for Hill Brothers Trucking and Trans Am Trucking. Mr. Hart was a member of Lightning Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hart, of the home; a daughter, Jessica Austin and husband Roy, Ada; three sons, Johnathan Hart and wife Amy, Ada, Shaun Hart, Ada, and Chad McConnell, Roff; two sisters, Sherri Hunt and husband Lloyd, Okarche and Tina Frye, Ada; one grandson, Charlie Austin; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bearers will be Mitchell Hunt, Jason Frye, John Bush, Charles Anderson, Lloyd Hunt and Buck Haines.
