CHARLES GLOVER
CENTER-Services for Charles Eddie Glover, 73, of Center are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Center Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Earl Hood and Jim Ross will officiate. Burial will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.
Mr. Glover died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at his home. He was born June 5, 1938 in the Frisco Community, near Stonewall, Oklahoma to Virgil Pinkley and Nellie Click Glover. He attended schools at Pleasant Hill and Center and graduated from Vanoss High School.
He married Neva Chilcoat on August 31, 1957. Mr. Glover was a maintenance worker for Brockway Glass Company until his retirement. He was affiliated with the Center Free Will Baptist Church. After his retirement, he was an avid fisherman and restored old cars.
Survivors include his wife, Neva Glover, of the home; two sons, Eddie Keith Glover and wife Angie of Blanchard, Regie Glover and wife Dana of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Gene Glover and wife Leota of Stratford, and Tommy Glover and wife Kay of Daisy; three sisters, Mildred Fisher, Chickasha, Vivian Whittington, Bemidji, MN, and Lula Mae Wheelock of Washington; his grandchildren, Derrick Glover, Mitchell Glover, Tré Glover, Kayla Glover, and Kalli Glover; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Virgil Glover and Richard Glover; and two sisters, Ruby Kite and Frances Ellis.
Bearers will be Terry Glover, James Glover, Joe Glover, Derrick Glover, Mitchell Glover and Tré Glover.
