CHARLES CRANFORD
TULSA-Memorial services for Charles Buford Cranford, 80, Tulsa, formerly of the Ada area, are 12:00 noon Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Bill Carter and Rev. Joe Howry will officiate.
Mr. Cranford went to heaven on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born November 7, 1927 Allen, Oklahoma to B. O. "Toad" and Eunice Means Cranford. He attended Hayes Elementary school and Ada High School and McLish High School. He also attended East Central College and Oklahoma A & M.
He married Yvonne Brake in 1948 at Oklahoma City. She died in 1991 in Oklahoma City. Mr. Cranford worked in the oil and water treatment business for many years. He served in the U. S. Navy. He moved to Tulsa 7 years ago from Ada.
Survivors include children, Alan Cranford, Belgrade, MT, Rod Cranford, Monroe, CT, Diane Rook, Oceanside, CA, Gena Rhees, Tulsa, OK, Christy Putnam, Bethany, OK, Mary Warner, Yukon, OK; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Jim Cranford, Orlando, Florida; and loving friend, Roine Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Yvonne "Honey" Cranford, and a brother, Jack Cranford.
