CHARLES BORDERS
ALLEN-Services for Charles Wayne Borders, 65, Allen, are 12:00 Noon Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Paul Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
Mr. Borders died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at an Allen nursing home. He was born January 17, 1943 at Allen, Oklahoma to Winfred and Clara Owens Borders. He lived in the Allen area all his life and attended Allen schools.
Mr. Borders was a farmer and rancher in the Allen area, was a Christian, and affiliated with the Allen Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Pauline Noel and husband Jack, Truman, AR, Gerry O'Brien and husband Dave, Congress, AZ, Pearl Hammonds, Duncan, OK, and Alice Kemper, Allen; two brothers, W. B. Borders and wife Loretta, Ada, and Marion Borders and wife Louise, Sulphur; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Johnny Borders and R. W. Borders, and an infant sister, Christine Borders.
