Services for Charlene Rita Vasquez, 81, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Wade will officiate.  Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery. A wake service will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vasquez died August 22, 2021 at a local hospital. She was born March 12, 1940 at Kalihoma, east of Ada, to Willis and Celia Johnson Alexander.

She retired from the City of Los Angeles Water and Power Company.

Survivors include two sons, Johnny Vasquez, Shawnee and Raymond Vasquez, Ponca City; five grandchildren, Cassandra Vasquez, Brianna Vasquez, Gabriel Real, Raela Faye Vasquez and David Churchwell; great-grandchild, Mariana Vasquez and four other great-grandchildren; one brothers, Bill Alexander, Amber, OK; four sisters, Louise Marrs, Connerville, Delores Alexander, Midwest City, Darlene Meeks and Irene Banks both of Ada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Laura Vasquez; three brothers, Jimmy Walker, Dean Walker and Edwin Alexander; three sisters, Wanda Alexander, Viola Jim and Norma Johnson.

Bearers will be Cody Tatum, Ricky Walker, Michael Markcum, Joseph Wolf, Bill Alexander and Marvin Alexander.
