CHARLENE HOLLAND
MIDWEST CITY-Services for Charlene Messena Holland, 80, Midwest City, are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Holland died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at an assisted living center in Midwest City. She was born Feb. 19, 1931, to Charlie and Alma Lance Boyd at Ada. She attended school at Stonewall. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Union Valley Baptist Church.
She and Vernon Lewis Holland were married in 1952 in Vanoss. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include a son, Chuck Holland and wife Joannie, Del City; two grandchildren, Ashley Holland, Ada, and Chase Holland, Del City; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lawrence Norvel and Genice Norvel; and a sister, Ellene Ward.
