CHARLENE GOUGE
PALMDALE, CALIFORNIA-Services for Charlene Gouge, 82, of Palmdale, California, formerly of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Gouge died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Lancaster, California. She was born August 5, 1929 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bruce and Stella McKnight Myers.
She married William F. Gouge. He preceded her in death in 1988 at Moore, Oklahoma. Mrs. Gouge was a homemaker and affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Bettye B. Payne of Salt Lake City, UT, and Donnia M. O'Brien Brooks and her husband Danny W. Brooks of Palmdale, CA; her grandchildren, Rane Smith, Lacy Craig, Thomas O'Brien, Daynia Castellanos, and William O'Brien; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, Curtis Myers of Poteau, OK; sister-in-law, Ozella Gouge of Garland, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nadine Tarver Vogt; and a brother, Leonard Myers.
