Services for Betty Charlene Bowers, 84, of Ada are 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home, Rev. Ken Wolf will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday.

Mrs. Bowers passed away January 3, 2024 in Ada.  She was born June 8, 1939 in Ada to Charlie Lee and Winnie Jane Barton Jones.

On August 3, 1957, she married Donald Ray Bowers in Carlsbad, NM.  He preceded her in death on June 9, 2012.

She is survived by her two sons, Derick Bowers and wife Sandra of Ada and Chad Bowers and wife Marcie of Bixby; two brothers, Jimmy Jones and wife Sherry of Tulsa and Gary Jones of Wynnewood; six grandchildren, Scotty Bowers, Brady Bowers, Heath Thompson, Brooks Thompson, Brent Bowers and Tori Bowers; and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bowers was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Donald Jones and one granddaughter, Shannon Raye Bowers.

Bearers are Brady Bowers, Scotty Bowers, Brent Bowers, Tori Bowers, Brooks Thompson and Kevin Luper.
